We will need to know the exact street location with other physical landmarks nearby, to confirm we are at the correct place photographing the correct building or site! A thorough briefing is imperative. A tract plan or "mudmap" of sorts, even if just sketched out, will help us orientate to the site & North. This also gives us clues to the building/project facing the direction of the sun, morning or evening. Your requirements for the images? Whether you need them shot at a specific altitude, angle, view, close up, wide angle taking in the environs etc.. Your final use of the images and output size? How large you will ever need to go with the images, in enlargements, advertising, etc.. This determines whether we need to shoot digitally, 35mm film or medium format transparency or supply digital files at different resolutions for four color print, newspaper print or web use. Your final needs for the images? Whether you need a custom shoot with fast turnaround (Weather permitting) and the final uses of images, a one time use, one year use or purchase all rights for unlimited time and media use. These questions have bearing on pricing and turnaround time. |
